  Full Disclosure: We have known the owners for years. We have even helped some teen friends get jobs here.
  
  It's a chain. But it's ICE CREAM!! Ice cream makes us all feel like little kids.
  
  DQ has a nostalgic feel to it for me. I remember as a kid having to drive to another city to get DQ. I always always got the banana split. It feels indulgent to me. Ice cream is indulgent.
  
  This is a very small quaint little part of Sparks history. Established in 1956.
  
  The DQ in Sparks started around the year of 1956. John Mayer, former Sparks City Councilman, has said that he used to come to this location as a child each spring when the business would open for the season and purchase a Banana Split.
  After several remodels and upgrades this location, which originally only had a walk up window, now features a drive thru and a dining room.
  
  I know several people who work here and they are people anyone can rave about. They are always professional, kind, and friendly. Service is quick and prompt for fast food. Plus the ice cream is something that makes me reminisce about days gone by. If you want to relive your childhood and bring back some cherished memories this is the place to stop.

  Dried out hamburgers, why can't they be fresh & juicy? They used to be, years ago. This place is just not up to Dairy Queen standards.

  Very quick although like most DQs starting to appear old. They still are searching great food and ice cream treats. Great staff at this location. Small parking lot.
